It’s that one song that you keep putting on replay…
Who said music isn’t always therapeutic?!

Music is one of the best therapies I have ever experienced!

When you just close your eyes and enjoy the rhythm and the words and you scream out loud when the singer’s voice rises.
Oh the freedom!
Oh the exhilaration!
Think..”Loose Control” by Teddy Williams.

Sometimes when I’m really at my lowest, it’s just enough to drive around (on the highest allowed speed), put on my favorite playlist, turn the volume up, put the windows down, and just sing really loud.

At other times it would be enough to really let go and dance like crazy alone in my room when no one’s watching.

I have lost count of the number of times a song has completely turned my day around.

Most of the times, it would be enough to totally flip my mood.

Music has a way of speaking to our souls and bringing us back to life.

It’s incredible how something as simple as a melody can have such a profound impact on our emotions.

Music can be your therapy, your escape, your salvation.
Often, when words fail, music speaks.

I know you are nodding your head right now and agreeing to all this.
To be honest, who wouldn’t?

You MUST detach.
You MUST find that one thing that will take you to another world and give you the….freedom. Even if just for a few minutes.

Don’t ever give in to “giving up”.
Don’t ever think: it’s not gonna happen for me.
It is!
Just put on your favorite playlist, turn the volume up, and sing out loud….or dance.
Then reassess.
